It is already high tide when we left Apo Island Resort. The water is surprisingly wild and getting in the boat was already quite challenging but following more or less 30 minutes, many of us finally reached Dauin we proceeded to Lab-as Cafe in Dumaguete City ?for the lunch.
Lab-as is a Cebuano term that means Fresh and true to what the called, everything that had been served in the food table were all clean catch. From prepared tuna belly to help Oyster to huge Prawns, the food ended up being sooo deliciously Pinoy.
Food from Lab-as Restaurant
If you really want to try out regional food and Pinoy foods in general, this cafe is the place to go. I love their Dumaguete Express dish – a local version of the Super Spicy Bicol Convey except that their version has a mixture of fish and crispy pork.

Its almost 4pm after we headed to Dumaguete vent to catch our boat bound for Siquijor. This island is one of the destinations that I’m looking forward to stop by again. It was not our first time to set feet in the island nevertheless the last time I was with Siquijor was for a Jump Safari and it didn’testosterone levels give me a chance to examine the islands mystical magic.
Mr. Cesar Cruz – Philtoa President
Upon reaching the island of Siquijor, we boarded a tourist bus in which brought us to your beautiful Coco Grove Beach Resort. Coco Grove is one of the finest hotels if not the finest inside Siquijor.?Welcome drink and also a short orientation had been facilitated by the resort staff before we all headed to the Pavilion – the actual venue for our meal with local spot holders.

While the food is being prepared and the local artists are preparing takes place, the room key playing cards were distributed in addition to majority of us visited our respective bedrooms to freshen up.
Pool Part Bar
We had so much enjoyment during the dinner managed by the resort, not just because of the wide array of meals that was served within the buffet table and also because of the very engaging cultural presentation. That they performed various standard dances from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
During the Tinikling performance, audience ended up invited to dance with the local performers whilst the rest are experiencing the performances.
Pool at Coco Grove Seaside Resort
We went back to our assigned rooms after the social presentation but since My partner and i still have things to do, I actually headed to the reception desk to have access to Wi-fi compatability. It was a long wander since WIFI gain access to is still very limited within this huge resort even so the management has programs of providing Wireless access in some tips of the resort.

Its was already 1am when I finally got to sleep, the full trip might be exhausting but the beautiful locations where we are visiting provides us more than enough reason for you to wake up each morning together with smile and much commitment.
